Happy National Coffee Day, Chattanooga (we can’t espresso how long we’ve bean waiting to say that).

In honor of the holiday + fall coffee menus popping up at our local shops, we decided to try them out ourselves and spill the beans on this year’s hottest fall-inspired coffee drinks.

☕ For the classic

Pumpkin Spice Latte | Sleepyhead Coffee, 735 Broad St. | The classic pumpkin spice latte, but make it vegan (trust us, it’s better than Starbucks) — pair with 1 of their pumpkin spice donuts + you’ve got a classic fall breakfast.

☕ For the person who wants something new

Wake Up and Smell the Apples | Velo Coffee Roasters, 509 E. Main St. | Cold brew concentrate, apple cider, sparkling water, Angostura bitters — because sometimes, fall in Tennessee is a few degrees hotter than crisp + cool (as much as we hate to say it).

☕ For the bookworm wanting something cozy

Cookie Butter Latte | Together Café, 801 S. Orchard Knob | Espresso + house-made cookie butter creamer (vegan or non-vegan) — sit and stay awhile at this quiet coffee shop that screams “autumn.”

☕ For the sweet tooth

Thirsty for S’more | Mad Priest Coffee Roasters, 1900 Broad St. + 3399 Wilcox Blvd. | A S’mores mocha that’s sweet + gluten free, but doesn’t let the sweetness overpower that perfect espresso taste.

☕ For the person who has trouble deciding

Pumpkin White Mocha | Sunnyside Cup, 617 Signal Mountain Rd. | Why choose between a white mocha + pumpkin spice latte when you can have both? Pick 1 up on your way to take a long fall drive up Signal Mountain.
