Officials announced today that award-winning chef Alton Brown will visit Chattanooga this fall.
Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science is a new production that includes “songs, multimedia presentations, talk show antics . and potentially dangerous food demonstrations.”
The show will be Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.
Admission is $39-$125. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

The author of “I’m Just Here for the Food” and the host of “Good Eats” will display his science-based cooking skills combined with elements of audience participation.
According to Brown, “There will be plenty of new therapy-inducing opportunities during our audience participation segments.” He also said that he was going to “play a little game with the audience.”
Brown-a Marietta, Georgia, resident-is known for his show “Good Eats,” which ran for 14 seasons on Food Network and Cooking Channel. The show won a Peabody Award in 2007, and in 2011, Brown was awarded the James Beard Foundation Award for Best TV Food Personality. His Mr. Wizard meets Julia Child style has appealed to audiences worldwide.
