Chattanooga lands on list of worst places to live

Authored By chloe.morrison

Chattanooga has been dubbed Best Town Ever twice, but media outlet RoadSnacks has put the Scenic City on its list of the 10 worst cities in the country.

Click here to see the entire list, which also includes Knoxville and Memphis.

The site’s team used criteria including population density, unemployment rates, adjusted median income, education and crime statistics to create the list.

The RoadSnacks team said they used unbiased data, and they also included this message on the post: “This article is an opinion based on facts and is meant as infotainment. Don’t freak out.”

RoadSnacks shared the post via Facebook on Monday, and by Tuesday, some Chattanoogans had picked it up and reshared it.

In other “which city is best” news, Knoxville beat out Chattanooga in Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine’s top towns contest. Click here and here for more about that.
