    The Modern Green Book needs local additions

    The Modern Green Book

    We recently told you what Green Books were — guides of safe places to stop for Black travelers during the Jim Crow era. 

    And then we learned about The Modern Day Green Book, which is a new resource “created to support, celebrate and uplift black-owned businesses + organizations,” and it needs Chattanooga additions. 

    Founder of the new book Theo Edwards-Butler said there are no Chattanooga businesses on the list yet, but that needs to change.
