Do you usually opt for patio seating when eating out? Us too (especially in the middle of a pandemic). Something about sitting outside while stuffing our faces with good food just feels right.

So, in an effort to not let the cold weather hold you back from supporting local restaurants, we’ve rounded up a list of outdoor spots that will keep you warm. 🔥

☕ Coffee Shops

Be Caffeinated  | (Northshore location) 14 W. Kent St. |  Be Caffeinated has two large patios, one that is heated and plastic insulated + one with a fire pit.

Rembrandt’s | 204 High St. | Enjoy sitting outside in Chattanooga’s arts district with a cup of hot coffee + heaters to warm you up on Rembrandt’s patio. 

🍺 Bars + Breweries

Exile Off Main Street | 1634 Rossville Ave. | This funky dive bar has fire pits, heaters, and music.

Flying Squirrel | 55 Johnson St. | The Flying Squirrel has a huge outdoor seating space, complete with multiple heaters and fire pits.

Hotel Indigo | 300 W 6th St. | West Village’s fairly new and stylish Hotel Indigo features two outdoor seating sections with heaters + a large fire pit for its bar. 

LeRoy’s | 304 Cherokee Blvd. | LeRoy’s beer lounge has a small but spacious patio with heaters to keep you warm while having a cold one. 

Naked River Brewery | 1791 Reggie White Blvd. | Naked River Brewery’s outside seating features a couple of heaters along with its artificial grass + cornhole (so it feels like it’s always summer).

Pickle Barrel | 1012 Market St. | Grab a drink and, of course, some fried pickles while at the Pickle Barrel’s uniquely-situated building downtown. The patio features great views, heaters, and plastic insulation. 

State of Confusion | 301 E Main St. | At State of Confusion, you’ll have a number of ways to stay warm outdoors with a large fire pit, several outdoor heaters, and their winter igloos that can seat up to eight people. 

Terminal BrewHouse | 1464 Market St. | Enjoy Terminal BrewHouse’s cute upper patio that now features several warm heaters. 

🍲 Other restaurants 

Basecamp | 346 Frazier Ave. | Keep an eye on Northshore’s bustling Frazier Ave., or grab a seat with a riverside view while sitting at Basecamp’s patio with several heaters.

Café on the Corner | 826 Scenic Hwy. | Lookout Mountain’s Café on the Corner has several heaters at its mid-sized outdoor seating area + a stacked stone firepit.

Main Street Meats | 217 E Main St. | Main Street Meats’ outdoor seating currently features overhead heaters, but there are also plans to expand its outdoor seating area, which will be heated during the winter + cooled during the summer.

Mojo Burrito | 3950 Tennessee Ave. | Mojo Burrito’s St. Elmo location has been boasting its completely heated patio, and we can’t wait to check it out.

Public House | 1110 Market St. | Public House’s outdoor patio has several heaters available, so you can shop Warehouse Row + head out to the patio for some food. 

Southside Social | 1818 Chestnut St. | Southside Social’s vast outdoor seating area has you covered this winter with plenty of fire pits and heaters + a space that will make you feel like you’re at an outdoor bbq.

Stevarinos | 325 Cherokee Blvd. | One of Chattanooga’s favorite Italian restaurants, Stevarinos on the Northshore will keep ya toasty with its outdoor heaters. 

STIR | 1444 Market St. |  STIR’s outdoor seating area features a number of heaters + small fire pits so you won’t freeze.
