For those of you not familiar with it, pickleball shares similarities with tennis, table tennis + badminton (as well as other paddle ball sports).

We don’t relish being out of the loop, so we had to do some research when we got this question from reader Joyce Y. 👇

“I’m interested in playing pickleball, but I haven’t found any teams in Chattanooga. I’m a beginner, so I need a group willing to teach me the basics.”

If you haven’t heard of pickleball, it’s kind of a big dill. For those of you not familiar with it, pickleball shares similarities with tennis, table tennis + badminton (as well as other paddle ball sports).

So, where to play in Chattanooga? Here’s where you can play locally.

🎾 Batter’s Place Pickleball Courts | 8011 Batter’s Pl. Rd. | Courts are open from sunrise to 11 p.m.

🎾 First Horizon Pavilion | 1826 Reggie White Blvd. | First Horizon Pavilion can now be booked to feature up to eight pickleball courts with professional-grade nets + offer food, beverages, and other amenities for groups of all sizes.
