A new downtown neighborhood market, which has a deli, craft beers, coffee and other products, is now open on the ground floor of the historical Clemons Building.
“There are so many great Chattanooga products [available at the market],” Street Corner Market operating manager Elia Gouvista said in a prepared statement.
The building is located at 730 Chestnut St., where customers will be able to get pastries, chocolate and bread sourced from Bluff View Art District, among other local businesses.
There is jewelry from Elea Blake, florals from Grafe Floral Studio and a curated collection of craft beers.
“The market has even secured some exclusive deals, such as offering famous Bluff View pretzels all week long and serving Mayfly’s cold-pressed coffee on nitro,” Gouvista said.
The deli has Boar’s Head gourmet sandwiches for lunch, as well as meats and cheeses to take home after work.
The market also features a self-service salad bar.
“The idea is to provide a true Chattanooga experience that reflects our community’s expertise in all we do, especially healthy living,” Gouvista said.
Customers can also use an online portal to “build a basket” of items they can pick up on the way home from work. That option will be available in a couple of months.
“From lunch deliveries to deliveries of fresh flowers and custom-made baskets, we’ll be able to meet the needs of busy professionals and residents in downtown,” Gouvista said.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
In addition to Street Corner Market, the new Epic Optical optometry office and eyeglasses boutique occupies space on the ground floor. About 2,000 square feet of retail space are still available to be leased.
