Happy almost weekend, Nooga. Editor Kristen here. 👋 Personally, I’m looking forward to a magical weekend checking out the Literary Ink tattoo convention. I might come out with a few book-themed tattoos, but even if that doesn’t happen, I’m excited to see the “tattoo wizards” creating magic, check out everyone’s cosplay fits, and shop from the vendors.

The Chattanooga City Council recently approved new rules on short-term vacation rentals, which include an expanded buffer zone in select areas. Among the revised rules, “no new absentee rentals will be allowed within 1,000-ft of another absentee rental in a single-family detached zoning district.” (Chattanooga Times Free Press)

New restaurant Irie Jamaican Cuisinerecently opened its doors in Red Bank at 3224 Dayton Blvd. Check out the menu and stop by for lunch.
Closing
Koch’s Bakery on Broad Street will have its final day of operation on Saturday, March 18. After 40 years, owner Barbara Davis has decided to retire, so make sure to grab your sweet treats while you can.

A new modern Ramen + Katsu house is coming to Chattanooga. Attack of the Tatsu will feature big bowls of ramen, traditional small dishes, Sake, and Japanese Whisky at 818 Georgia Ave. — keep an eye out on the spot’s Instagram page for updates.
