Bridge Refugee Services | Bridge is a nonprofit organization in Chattanooga + Knoxville that provides protection and assistance to refugees.
Chattanooga Chinese Association-查城華人協會 | The Chattanooga Chinese Association promotes + preserves Chinese traditions, customs, culture, and language locally. Chattanooga Chinese School, a language and arts school for adults and children, is also part of the association.
Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs | The Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs provides resources and information to diverse businesses, promotes diversity and inclusion within the Chattanooga community, and more.

Civic ○ The City of Chattanooga is entering into a 90-day contract with the Chatt Inn (E. 23rd St.) to house up to 100 individuals experiencing homelessness. This will cost up to $341,250, and will be covered by federal COVID-19 stimulus funds + social service agencies will work to find the individuals permanent placement. (Chattanoogan.com) ○ On April 3, American Airlines resumed its nonstop flight services from the Chattanooga Airport to Washington, DC. Beginning on May 6, American Airlines will also add a fourth daily nonstop flight to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. ✈️
ComingSoon ○ Scenic City Orthodontics announced the opening of its second location in Southside. The new office will be located at 1075 Market St. and is currently accepting new patients. 🦷
Ranked ○ Chattanooga was recently ranked No. 4 in Magnify Money’s study on metros with the smallest wage gap for women in tech. According to the findings, in Chattanooga, the median earnings for women in tech are $62,733, while the median earnings for men in tech are $66,882.
WaterCooler ○ The Chattanooga Red Wolves recently announced the team’s first two preseason matches in preparation for the league’s 2021 season. One of the preseason games will be located at CHI Memorial Stadium on April 10 against Atlanta United II. The game will be open exclusively to Red Wolves season ticket holders. ⚽
DYK ○ On Sun., April 4, the City of East Ridge turned 100 years old after being formally incorporated in April 1921. The celebration of the anniversary has been postponed until later this year on Sat., Sept. 25. The East Ridge Centennial Celebration will take place at Camp Jordan. 🎂
TryThis ○ In celebration of Earth Day, Rock City Gardens is partnering with the Chattanooga Zoo to host its annual EarthDayz event on April 17-18 + 24-25. The event will feature live music, a virtual scavenger hunt, “dirt cake,” and animal shows with four different animals from the Chattanooga Zoo.
