Noah Reid mansion + Obvious Dad summer season

May 12, 2022

Hello Thursday.

May 19 2022

This mansion has a slide

Homes like these are two in a Mills-ion — or 5 million, since that’s the price tag of the newly listed Noah Reid mansion. Plus, it’s located less than 20 minutes from downtown, meaning this house is a little closer to home.

With the Mills Residence now back on the market (after selling for the highest residential sales price in southeast Tennessee history, by the way), let’s see what this next big Chatt-eau has to offer.

Location, location, location

The Noah Reid house is situated in the East Brainerd area at 7468 Noah Reid Rd. It sits on ~17 acres of land, accommodating a field house, indoor turf facility, basketball half-court, and full-sized soccer field, complete with a pavilion shaded in a clutch of trees.

Buyers from as far as Texas, California, and Las Vegas have taken an interest. In fact, the Nashville builder has worked on grand farmhouse-style homes for Tennessee Titans + country music stars.

Fast facts

  • 11,769 sqft
  • 7 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 3 half baths, plus a 1 bed/1 bath guest apartment
  • 3-4 decks, patios + porches
  • Completed in 2019

Bonus features

The home’s original + current owners wanted a place to accommodate their eight children, hence the outdoor playground + built-in bunks — not to mention the spiral slide running from the upper floors to the living area.

Parts of the home have also been open to the community. For example, when Grace Academy’s soccer facility was ruined, the family donated its soccer field for the team’s practices.

Here’s the scoop on THC gummies

Delta-9 is federally legal when extracted from hemp and appears in a concentration no greater than 0.3% by dry weight. | Photo provided by Hometown Hero

Number: 50. The number of states where hemp-derived THC gummies are legal. Yes, you read that right.

If you struggle to keep up with the status of cannabis, we recently published an explainer with help from the experts at Hometown Hero. Give it a read, then, if you’re intrigued, get more info about safety from our friends at Hometown Hero, who are offering free (and completely legal) samples of Delta-9 THC gummies.*

Please note: Hometown Hero advises consumers to read their terms & conditions, consult their physician before trying their products, start only with small amounts, and to not consume Delta-9 before driving or before a drug test. Other than Chattanooga (because, obvs) and Kansas City (where I live now), I think I’d be a Seattle guy — just in case you couldn’t tell by the everything about me.
