Calling all undergrads looking to stay closer to home this semester: Registration is now open for fall classes at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

UTC is making plans to be fully operational this fall, with students returning to campus for face-to-face classes. To keep students and faculty safe, the University is putting the following protocols in place:

  • Everyone on campus will be required to wear face masks. Read: Both indoors + outside while walking to and from classes or meetings.
  • All students will be given masks. Residential students will receive them when they check into their residence halls, and masks will be available to all students at several locations around campus. Faculty and staff will receive masks from their supervisors or department heads.
  • Room capacities + course scheduling are being set to enable classes to meet social distancing guidelines.
  • Several changes are being made to Operation Move-In for the Fall 2020 semester, and staff will be following updated, comprehensive cleaning + sanitizing protocols for all rooms and common spaces.
