Dry January is officially over, folks. We thought we would enter the month of February highlighting a few of the delicious cocktails offered in the Scenic City — and why not add an astrological twist to that list?

It’s time to sip your sign — here are 12 local cocktails we’ve matched with each sign on the Zodiac calendar. đŸ’«

♒ Aquarius: Rosecomb Bar’s Southern Suede

Mysterious, unique, and sophisticated are all qualities often associated with Aquarians, and this cocktail fits the bill (I mean, just read this description of the drink). From the unique pairing of flavors + the design on top, this isn’t your average cocktail.

♓ Pisces: Calliope’s The Red Sea

For the creative and imaginative Pisces, this fun cocktail made with gin, St. Germain, blood orange vermouth + topped with bubbles is the perfect drink.

♈ Aries: Sluggo’s Tropical Kenny

Aries can be fiery, energetic, and the life of the party. For this sign, we recommend trying this cocktail made with Gate 11 gin + packed full of other flavors.

♉ Taurus: Honey Seed’s O’Honey

Taurus signs are known to be reliable, responsible + practical. So this cocktail that’s made with Honey Seed’s house-made sunshine juice and local honey is the perfect way to treat yourself.

♊ Gemini: Amada Tapas’ Rosa

For the fun + bubbly Gemini, we’ve paired you with this light and refreshing cocktail made with Gate 11 gin and rose water.

♋ Cancer: Boneyard’s Rosemary Gimlet

Cancers are known to be gentle, emotional, and deeply caring individuals. This simple, yet refreshing cocktail reminds us of this sign.

♌ Leo: Flying Squirrel’s Ardilla Borracha

A cocktail to match the warm + vibrant energy of a Leo? Coming right up. This drink is made with the bold flavors of reposado tequila, mezcal, naranja orange liqueur + lime.

NOOGAtoday | Immersion Gallery
Get lost in the art, music, books, videos, and other aspects of the rooms as you move through the show. | Photo by NOOGAtoday
Back in December, we shared news about the opening of Immersion Gallery, a new art venue concept in downtown Chattanooga. Immersion Galley showcases art from local + regional talent through an immersive experience, with interconnected, ever-changing rooms.

If you weren’t able to attend the opening event in December, or want to see the concept again (note that the rooms have been rearranged + new art has been introduced to the space), you can grab tickets to Immersion Gallery’s next event on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Open the cabinets and drawers in the “Wunderkammer” room, touch the 3D art in the “Blue Ruin,” listen to the sounds of nature in the “Plant Based” exhibit, and more while you explore the venue. The event will also feature food, wine, live music, reading from local poets + authors, and live art demos.

Tickets to the event are available online + doors open at 5 p.m. — this event is for those 21+.
