  • Two education sessions will be held via Zoom to discuss the budget process and priorities for the next fiscal year. The sessions will be on Wednesday, April 19 + Thursday, April 20 — residents are encouraged to register for the event to share what they would like to see on the budget.
  • The City of Chattanooga will begin a year-long project to redesign its website — which hasn’t been upgraded since 2012. The ~$1 million redesign will feature regular news feeds, livestreams from city events + more user-friendly content. (NewsChannel 9)

  • Chattanooga Whiskey was named Craft Producer of the Year at the 2023 Icons of Whisky Awards in London. The worldwide category featured distilleries from America, India, Scotland, and more. Congrats, Chatt Whiskey.

  • It’s raining on our parade. The Chattanooga Parks & Outdoors folks have canceled Saturday’s Egg Hunt at Warner Park and Spring Breakin’ events due to impending weather. Stay tuned for the rescheduling of the egg hunt + Spring Breakin’ will likely be moved to late June.

Lineup announced for this year’s 3 Sisters Music Festival

The 3 Sisters Music Festival will return for its “Sweet 16th” year on October 6+7 at Ross’s Landing. The free and open-to-the-public music event features live performances by some of the top names in contemporary and traditional bluegrass music — and the lineup just dropped.

Headlining this year’s festival on Friday, Oct. 6 is Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Kruger Brothers, and The Slocan Ramblers. The festival will kickoff with a performance by the beloved host band, The New Dismembered Tennesseans.

Greensky Bluegrass will headline the festival on Saturday, Oct. 7 — the band is known for their “dazzling performances” that have sold out countless shows.
