Chattanooga Sip ’N Que Festival | Saturday, July 8 | 5-8 p.m. | First Horizon Pavilion | $10-$75 | Come out for a barbecue competition, food trucks + libations, live music, and more.
Peach Festival | Sunday, July 9 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m. | First Horizon Pavilion | Free+ | Pick out some fresh peaches, plus peach-flavored + inspired goodies from local vendors.

Local houseplant shop The Secret Garden announced it will open a second location in nearby Cleveland, TN. The grand opening date has yet to be determined, so make sure to follow the shop’s Instagram page for updates.

Thanks to an investment from Food City, UTC has opened its Food City Fueling Station to serve the Mocs athletic department. The station, located inside the Wolford Family Strength & Conditioning Center, will provide healthy food options for student-athletes. (University of Tennessee Chattanooga)

In celebration of nine food-related businesses graduating from the inaugural Catalyst program, The Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga will host a special edition of Food Truck Friday on Friday, June 2. The graduates will join 13 other local food trucks to serve up delicious food + sell other products.

The Chattanooga Public Library has partnered with Unum to host a job fair on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at its downtown location. The event will feature local area businesses that are hiring + a free interview “clothes store” for folks who may need a professional outfit.

Applications for the Mayor’s Youth Council — a leadership program for rising high school juniors and seniors — are now open. The program is designed to “empower Chattanooga’s youth for the common purpose of building One Chattanooga.” Learn more + apply.
