Sports

Women’s professional soccer is coming to Chattanooga under the USL Super League. Chattanooga is one of ~10 markets across the US that comprise the newly developed league that is set to kick off in August 2024, with Chattanooga’s team beginning play in 2025. (The Pulse)

Chattanooga has earned the 2023 Smart 50 Award from Smart Cities Connect. Chattanooga, along with stakeholders in four other US cities, was awarded for its collaborative work to improve air quality and create infrastructure to help residents access and understand its effects.
