The Hamilton County Commission recently voted unanimously to spend $101,483 to assess a sinkhole at the McDonald Farm dam. The commission has hired Geosyntec Consultants to evaluate + determine the next steps in appropriately handling the situation. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)

A new park is coming to 3220 Provence Street (near the Brainerd tunnels) under the city’s Park Equity Accelerator program. The Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors Department is seeking community input + feedback about the park’s design.
