Have you ever thought how nice it would be to explore the Tennessee Aquarium with fewer crowds and a beer in hand? Let’s just say we definitely have, and good news — you can do just that at the inaugural Fish & Sips event on Saturday, July 22.
This event is an adults-only, after-hours event where you can take a stroll through the aquarium’s River + Ocean Journey buildings to see its furry and finned residents while sampling beers from local and regional breweries.
Bonus: You can even see some of the nocturnal animals which are rarely seen during normal operating hours.
Enjoy 10 four-ounce beer samples from the breweries that will be stationed at various exhibits. Folks will also receive a swag bag (which includes a Stanley stainless steel tumbler) + access to complimentary Coca-Cola products and live music on the aquarium’s outdoor pavilion.
The Edwin Hotel, which is sponsoring the event, will offer complimentary pimento cheese biscuit bites + additional food for purchase will be offered by spots like Puckett’s, Food Works, and Ben & Jerry’s — a full menu to come.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the aquarium.
