Civic
  • The City of Chattanooga will roll out two more dates for its Housing Resource Fair. Today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carver Community Center, you can get more information on support options for homeownership. The next fair will be on Monday, Oct. 2 (The Pulse)
Development
  • Parkridge Medical Center recently bought the 38-acre site along Jenkins Road for $36 million. The 55,000-sqft building was formerly the office for U.S. Xpress + will be developed into an outpatient facility in partnership with Erlanger. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)

  • The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo is officially accepting reservations with the first check-in date slated for Tuesday, Oct. 31. Want an inside look before you book? Check out the renovations + the new dining option.
UTC
  • UTC will partner with Lane Wellness Co. to kick off its homecoming week with a Run the Yard fun run on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Chamberlain Field. Attendees can dress up in a “crazy outfit” + enjoy music and community. The run is free with a waiver required for registration.
Sports
  • The Chattanooga Titans Fans supporter club will kick off its fifth year with a watch party on Sunday, Sept. 10 at TailGate Brewery. Swing by the brewery at 12 p.m. for a pre-game social hour + cheer on the Titans as they take on the Saints beginning at 1 p.m.

  • The Children’s Hospital at Erlanger will host its FUNFAIR Festival on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Chattanooga Green. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., kiddos can enjoy free games + activities centered around educational tools to keep kids safe and injury-free.
Outdoors
  • Lula Lake Land Trust now has a backcountry campsite at the Durham Mine Trails (located off the East Fugget Branch Trail). Folks can reserve their spot for $5 per person. Note: There is currently only one campsite with the capacity for four tents.

Coming up on Friday, Sept. 8, folks will be able to shop from 15+ local vendors from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Chattery (1800 Rossville Ave.). Along with an evening of shopping, you can dance the night away with music spun by DJ MCPRO.

Whether you’re looking for something specific, or just want to support some local small businesses, you’ll want to make sure to mark your calendars for this event.
