Limited number of free Chattanooga Library cards available for nonresidents

The Chattanooga Public Library Foundation will offer a limited number of non-city resident library cards for free at its upcoming Fall Book Sale.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, 70 cards will be available first come, first serve at the sale taking place Thursday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 24 at Venue 701.
Typically, folks who do not reside in the city limits of Chattanooga can purchase a library card for $50 — which allows access to checkouts, the ability to reserve meeting rooms, and other amenities.
Note: If all the donated cards are not claimed at the book sale, the remaining cards will be distributed to the library’s various branch locations — you can ask a receptionist if any cards are available.
