There’s just something undeniably special about hosting your loved ones in your home for a good meal and conversation. With a goal of encouraging folks to start hosting + creating a life well-lived at home, Yancey Kenna Martin has opened her new Northshore shop, Mosaic Home + Market.

Mosaic is designed as a one-stop shop across two floors to bring you all the essentials for hosting. As an interior designer, Martin has brought her eclectic style to stock up the shelves with beautiful and quality finds.

“The goal of the store is to give all our customers the components to host in a home they feel proud of, inspired by, and excited to show off,” Martin said.

On the first floor, you’re greeted with beautiful displays of tableware, furniture, and home goods from brands Martin has used to design clients’ homes for years.

You’ll find unique items like hand-painted plates from Portugal to sculptural ceramic pieces from Morocco. Martin even teamed up with Chattanooga’s Igniss Glass Studio to offer a special line of tumblers + goblets.

As you journey downstairs, you’ll find a room stocked with prepared foods and snacks to serve to your guests. Similar to the goods upstairs, these items are sourced from small producers who are experts in their craft.

Martin said you’ll find small samples of the very best in the market, with foods that are high in quality and beautiful to serve. She has stocked the coolers with some of her favorite local and regional finds, including wagyu steaks from Apison-based Chili Pepper Ranch.

Bonus: Next year folks can look forward to a curated wine selection to shop from.

Ready to get to hosting? You can stop by the shop at 516 Cherokee Blvd. + follow along on Instagram for new items hitting the shelves, giveaway opportunities, and other announcements.
