It’s that time again, folks. A change of seasons is approaching and with that, winter and holiday-themed drinks are beginning to hit local coffee shop + bar menus.

If you’re looking to cozy up with a festive beverage, check out these new seasonal offerings:

Seasonal coffee

Goodman Coffee Roasters | Four new drinks named after classic holiday films have hit the menu — we’re eyeing The Buddy, a maple bourbon latte that’s topped with cinnamon.

Velo Coffee Roasters | ’Tis the season for the return of the espresso cider + if you’re looking to add a little more spice to your morning cup of Joe, try out the Chocolate Chili Nitro.

Sunnyside Cup | If you’re not quite ready to give up the fall flavors, get the best of both worlds with the pumpkin spice eggnog latte.

Rembrandt’s Coffee House | Described as a “hug in a mug,” sip on the White Christmas latte flavored with almond, coconut, and cinnamon.

Be Caffeinated | Sip on the Jack Frost latte flavored with local honey + blueberry. Bonus: this drink is currently the “Drink of the Moment” where you can receive $1 off your purchase.

NOOGAtoday | Sleepyhead mocktail

Try out a full holiday mocktail menu at Sleepyhead Coffee Main + Dodds.

Seasonal cocktails

Civil Provisions and Bar | Try out the Father Thyme gin cocktail with unsweetened cranberry juice, simple syrup, ginger beer, thyme + cranberries.

Unknown Caller Bar | There are plenty of festive drinks to try during the Santa Tell Me holiday bar pop-up — we recommend the shareable hot toddy to split with your friends.

Big Bad Breakfast | Enjoy a festive spin on a mimosa with the Grinch Mosa made with vodka, “green” orange juice, and prosecco.

Amada Tapas & Wine | Enter a winter wonderland with the Sugar Plum cocktail made with gin, pomegranate juice, lemon, simple syrup, PX sherry, and egg white.

Sleepyhead Coffee Main + Dodds | Looking to get in the festive mood sans the spirits? Try out the “Claus”mopolitan, one of the eight new holiday cocktails.

The challenge will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 21, and will run through Tuesday, March 19. Participants can register online + choose their reward levels to receive prizes and have a native tree planted in their honor. Instructions on how to track your progress will also be provided.

Additionally, Outshine Adventures will lead guided group hikes in the area on the first Saturday in January, February, and March ranging from 5-7 miles on moderately challenging terrain. Note: Even if you don’t join the challenge, folks can participate for $20.
