You can always count on me to go to a film screening (the popcorn is just a bonus, right?), so I will definitely be making my way through the Lookout Wild Film Festival’s lineup. The Chattanooga Public Library will celebrate Tennessee native Dolly Parton’s birthday with a special “Reading 9 to 5" takeover at all of its branches on Friday, Jan. 19. Don’t dilly, Dolly — check out the full event lineup.

Development

A new price has been estimated for the development of the mixed-use stadium that will be home to the Chattanooga Lookouts. Originally projected at $80 million, the facility is now expected to be around $120 million. Stay tuned for an update on the South Broad project in a future newsletter. Festival

The lineup for the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival just dropped. The festival will take place Thursday, June 13-Sunday, June 16 in nearby Manchester + feature headlining performances by Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Fred Again.
