Patten Square St. Patty’s Day Bingo, locations vary
Now through Sunday, March 17, folks can pick up a bingo card from the participating locations for a chance to win a gift certificate to a Patten Square business (think: Lil Mama’s Chicago Style Hoagy, Five Leaf, etc.).
Nooga Leprechaun Crawl, locations vary
On Saturday, March 16, Nooga Nightlife will host its holiday-themed crawl featuring over 30 locations from NorthShore to Southside beginning at 3 p.m. Get your wristbands to enjoy food and drink specials, live music, and more while benefitting Siskin Children’s Insitute. Note: You must be 21+.
Annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl, locations vary
Follow the Highlander Pipes and Drums for the group’s annual crawl on Saturday, March 16 — the first performance will be at 12 p.m. at Thunder Creek Harley Davidson.

Enter to win two GA Weekend Passes to Bear Shadow — the music festival nestled at 4,118 ft in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina’s Highlands-Cashiers Plateau — Saturday, May 11-Sunday, May 12.
Headliners for this year’s festival include Black Pumas, a seven-time Grammy-nominated psychedelic soul band (whose song “Colors” was featured in that Target commercial you couldn’t stop humming) and JJ Grey & Mofro, a Southern soul-rock band.
GA Weekend Passes give attendees access to both days of Bear Shadow including eight live musical performances, plus complimentary beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages; and complimentary shuttles to and from downtown Highlands to the festival site on Winfield Farm ($600+ value).
A 20-acre lot at 2815 Cummings Hwy. was recently approved for rezoning, allowing Roamstead to develop a “glamping campground.” Awaiting city council approval, the 75-80 camper site is projected to open in 2025. Stay tuned for more details in a future newsletter. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
Traffic
Beginning today, March 13 at 8 a.m., Retro Hughes Road (from Highway 27 to Back Valley Road) will be closed for crews to conduct a water mainline repair. The closure will run through tomorrow, March 14 at 4 p.m. + motorists are advised to use detours.

Cempa Community Care recently appointed Jamie Barbeauld as its new chief financial officer. Barbeauld, who has 20 years of experience in her field, will be in charge of financial reporting, grant compliance, internal control functions, and more for the organization.

55. That’s how many volunteers are needed for Hixson High School’s HOSA: Future Health Professionals’ upcoming State Leadership Conference on Monday, March 25 through Wednesday, March 27. Volunteers will help judge the scheduled competitive events. Sign up online.

Rock the Riverfront returns to the Chattanooga Green withfamily-friendly fun tomorrow, March 14.
The month-long community celebration features themed weekend events, interactive art, music, food, vendors, and festive entertainment, including the “Light Up Chatt” lantern parade.
Explore 12 giant music-box-inspired installations with “Loop” by Ekumen, or lay on the lawn and soak up tunes from the nearby main stage.
Pro tip: There are still three free lantern-making workshops for the parade, including tonight at 6 p.m.
