White Oak Bicycle Co-Op donates bicycle repair stations to Red Bank

The City of Red Bank recently received two bicycle repair stations thanks to local nonprofit White Oak Bicycle Co-Op (WOBC).
The repair stations include eight commonly used tools for minor repairs and adjustments + aim to help cyclists feel safe knowing mechanical support is nearby.
The stations are placed at Kid’s Corner Playground (at Unaka Street and Redding Road) and at the White Oak Connector Trailhead — which will soon be known as the city’s Bicycle Boulevard.
“White Oak’s involvement in the community is making our city more liveable and bikeable and enhancing the quality of life for our residents,” said Red Bank Mayor Hollie Berry. “As a city, we welcome every opportunity to support and encourage our resident and visitor cyclists, making Red Bank a future bicycle-friendly community.”
Head to WOBC’s website to learn more about its mission of increasing access to bicycles + how you can get involved.
