The wait is almost over, folks. This weekend is the opening celebration of the Chattanooga Market at the First Horizon Pavilion. The market will kick off its 24th season with extended hours on Saturday, April 27 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) + Sunday, April 28 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
In honor of the opening weekend, we thought we would share some of our favorite market finds. Note: There will be over 150 vendors at this weekend’s market, so this list is just a tiny slice of what you can expect.
Lemonade from Miller’s Original Lemonade There’s nothing quite like a refreshing cup of freshly squeezed lemonade to sip on while you journey through the market. Pro tip: If it’s an extra toasty day, opt for the frozen lemonade.
Pimento cheese from Suga’s Pimento Cheeses These gourmet pimento cheeses are one of our staples. Try out the southern classic flavor or the southern jalapeno if you like a little extra kick.
Sausages from Real Cajun Market Editor Kristen first tried these sausages during one of the annual FiveStar Food Fight competitions (the next one is coming up on Sunday, July 21) and they quickly became a must-have. Her favorites are the classic Andouille smoked sausages or the pineapple pepper jack flavor.
Fresh strawberries from Melon Patch Farms You can’t miss the gorgeous buckets of fresh strawberries from this Northern Georgia farm — these are a market favorite, so you might want to show up early to grab your berries.
Mushrooms from Gowin Valley Farms This mushroom farm will be at the market all season long — pick up a variety of gourmet mushrooms (we love the lion’s mane variety) + starter packs if you want to give growing your own a try. Bonus:See an inside look at the farm’s operations.
Cakes from The Sugar Shoppe Everyone deserves a sweet treat after a day of shopping, and we love grabbing a cup of cake (extra points for the convenient packaging) from this local bake shop. The strawberry + lemon flavors are two of our favorites.

Athena vets 30,000+ assistants, and under 1% make it to its four-week training program, where they learn Athena’s proprietary delegation system, AI tools, and playbooks. | Photo via Pexels
Most people don’t know how or what to delegate. Their “I can do it myself” attitude or mediocre experience with a virtual assistant limits their ability to move from doing to delegating. Athena gets to know your personal + business life so you can achieve more.
Here are three tricks to kickstart your delegation journey:
Use voice notes to delegate.
Record videos of repetitive tasks to turn into a standard process.
