  • CARTA will offer free bus rides on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. All fixed-route, Care-A-Van + CARTA GO services will be eligible to ensure you can get to the polls. Pro tip: Book your Care-A-Van service by Monday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
Civic
  • The City of Chattanooga’s 2024 property tax bills are now available online. The deadline to pay this year’s property taxes is on Friday, Feb. 28. Pro tip: Chattanoogans who are 65+ can see if they qualify for tax relief programs by contacting the Office of the City Treasurer at 423-643-7262.
Health
  • Hamilton County plans to sell the Health Department’s current facility to Erlanger in a $10 million transaction. Notably, the department will relocate to a UTC-owned site adjacent to Engel Stadium, further establishing a healthcare corridor along 3rd Street as UTC also has plans to gain a new nursing school facility.
