Local R&B group CitiLimitz took to the stage on the newest season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” and it’s a yes for us.
Comprising twin brothers Marion and A.T. + their cousin Dre, this trio got their start eight years ago when they were around 12 years old, but said they were raised by a family full of gospel + soul singers. In 2019, they made their first TV debut on an episode of “Ellen.”
Fast forward to this year. The group began a two-month-long tour in January + midway through, their managers received an email from “AGT” to audition. You can watch the full performance online, but we’re here to give you some behind-the-scenes coverage.
CitiLimitz auditioned with a cover of “All My Life” by K-Ci and JoJo — which A.T. dedicated to Mel B. herself. “I was more focused on her and ready to show my gift,” he said.

In a recent statement from Senator Bo Watson, he shared that the 160-acre tract of land along Tunnel Boulevard has been ruled out for the development of the new Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute. The State of Tennessee Department of General Services will continue surveying options.

Oddstory Brewing Co. selected the Chattanooga Zoo as its Nonprofit of the Month — hang on, there’s more. The brewery created a new Hang Two Mango IPA with a can design dedicated to Boysenberry the sloth + will host a special release at Giveback Night on Thursday, June 12.

The 18th annual Chattanooga Jewish Film Series will begin on Sunday, June 22 at the Jewish Cultural Center. The series will feature in-person and virtual screenings of five international award-winning films through Friday, July 25. See the lineup + get tickets.
