Cue “Miami” by Will Smith. American Airlines resumed nonstop flights from the Chattanooga Airport to Miami on Saturdays, now through the end of August.
Open
After being closed since last July for maintenance, the Raccoon Mountain Visitor Center has reopened. The center offers a chance to learn from staff, an overlook of the Tennessee River Gorge + 30 miles of trails to enjoy in the area. Bonus: Find out how the dam works to bring us power.
Watch
Local award-winning documentary “How to Sue the Klan” is now available for streaming on PBS. The film is centered around the five Black women in Chattanooga who started a groundbreaking civil case in 1982. Bonus: See an in-person screening on Thursday, June 19.
Ranked
The Scenic City recently ranked No. 16 on Careerminds’ list of the top 150 locations for micro-retirement in the US — a term used when folks take a temporary, intentional pause from working. We aren’t surprised, with all the things to do in Chattanooga.
Plan Ahead
Don’t whine about sold out events — secure your glass for Preserve Chattanooga’s annual Wine Over Water event on Saturday, Oct. 25 with an early bird discount. This year, the fundraiser will take over Renaissance Park, featuring tastings, bites from top chefs + live music.
Wellness
Improve gut health + boost natural production of GLP-1 (the same hormone Ozempic mimics for weight loss) with Bioma’s 3-in-1 formula. Use code 6AM10 for an extra 10% off.*

If you didn’t get out and try kava when we introduced you to 330 Main, take this as your sign to do so. The Southside spot is hosting a bartender takeover on Saturday, June 21, offering a kava cocktail experience led by one of my dearest friends, Kelsey Hassell (who you might recognize from Unknown Caller).
