Ready to toast the season? These holiday pop-up bars across Chattanooga are serving big vibes, bright lights, and plenty of festive drinks.
Miracle on Broad Street Where: No Hard Feelings, 806 Broad St. Open through: Wednesday, Dec. 31
This is a safe bet if you want a wide variety of holiday-themed drinks with fun names (like Christmapolitan + Blitzen Barrel) — and you want them in fun cups.
Station 9 ¾ Where: TailGate Brewery, 1464 Market St. Open through: Mid-January
Not only has this Southside taproom transformed into a Christmas wonderland — it’s also Harry Potter themed. Don’t miss the Booterbeer, available with or without alcohol.
Home Alone Holiday Pop-Up Bar Where: Common House Chattanooga, 1517 Mitchell Ave. Open through: Wednesday, Dec. 31
If you’re a “Home Alone” fan, you can’t miss this one. It’s packed with nods to the movies, and it’s open to non-members on Fridays and Saturdays. See ya there, ya filthy animals.
A plan to turn a historic Patten Parkway building into a 12-story apartment and retail project is on hold after pushback from the nearby Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The zoning request was deferred 30 days for more review. (News Channel 9)
Festival
The Red Bank Christmas Festival is Saturday, Dec. 13, 3-8 p.m at the City Park (3817 Redding Rd.). Expect a parade at 6 p.m., vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, and a dance party in the street. Drivers can expect Dayton Boulevard closures between 1 and 8 p.m. (Chattanoogan)
Concert
If you didn’t catch him in 2022, you must have been “Tangled Up In Blue.” But don’t worry — Bob Dylan is coming back to Chattanooga in 2026. He’ll perform at the Memorial Auditorium on Friday, April 17, and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
Eat
In-N-Out will open its first three Tennessee locations this week in Lebanon, Antioch, and Murfreesboro. The burger chain is also planning at least two Chattanooga locations, but no opening dates have been set. Psst. Who needs chains when you have local favorites like Tremont Tavern and Scottie B’s? (Local 3 News)
Shop
Still need some holiday gifts? Here’s a chance to shop and support local Black-owned businesses at the same time. Black Vendor Sunday is happening this Sunday, Dec. 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church — and this year features more vendors than ever.
Environment
If “The Conservation Kid” has you feeling inspired, Green Steps will have its last cleanup of the year on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 12 to 3 p.m. Volunteers will be cleaning up Citico Creek. If you’d like to help, sign up online.
Pets
Thinking of adding a furry member to your family? This weekend might be a good time — the Humane Education Society is offering free adoptions on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 12 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14 from 12 to 4 p.m. Check out the adoptable pets.

If you can’t make it to see “Annie” tomorrow or Friday night, you’ll have more chances this weekend: the musical hits the main stage again on Saturday, Dec. 13 (two shows) and Sunday, Dec. 14. Keep in mind that last Sunday’s performance sold out.
As a former theater minor at UTC, it makes me so happy to see Chattanooga’s theater community getting the love and attention it deserves.
