Today marks the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics with the opening ceremony, airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock at 2 p.m. Fans can see Team USA before events kick off in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, with a bonus primetime re-air at 8 p.m.
While no Olympians are representing Tennessee this time, families can still get in the spirit locally. The Creative Discovery Museum is hosting a Winter Games Opening Celebration tomorrow, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be hands-on winter sports crafts, finger snowboarding, science experiments, and treats — all included with regular admission.
