The Chattanooga Zoo is mourning the loss of Charlie the Komodo dragon, who passed away after a sudden medical emergency. Known for her love of snacks, sunshine, and digging dirt tunnels, Charlie leaves behind three sons born in 2019 through rare asexual reproduction.

Collegedale has a new logo, and it was designed by Southern Adventist University student Laurissa Mancia. The logo features a nearby mountain and an evergreen tree as a nod to Little Debbie Park.
