Post of the Day

A close-up of scattered, colorful confetti on grass, with the bold red text "PLEASE DON'T." in the center. A cityscape and overcast sky are visible in the background. The image conveys a message against littering with celebratory confetti in parks. The "Chattanooga Parks & Outdoors" logo is visible in the corner.

Two simple words... after a lot of confetti, apparently. The city’s Parks and Outdoors department is begging Chattanoogans to stop using confetti to get the perfect photo, calling it a choking hazard for wildlife and a “nightmare to clean up.” If you’d like to do a celebratory toss, the city recommends throwing dried flower petals or birdseed instead.
