A quiet moment before “Project Hail Mary” lights up the IMAX screen again. | Photo by NOOGAtoday
If you missed your chance to see “Project Hail Mary” on Chattanooga’s largest movie screen, it’s your lucky day.
The heartwarming sci-fi movie starring Ryan Gosling is coming back to the Tennessee Aquarium’s IMAX theater. Fun fact: The movie was filmed with special cameras and features a sound mix designed specifically for IMAX.
Editor Sarah here: I had the privilege of seeing this movie at the IMAX theater a couple of weeks ago, and I’m still thinking about it. I laughed, I cried — it was truly one of the best movie experiences I’ve had. Trust me, it’s worth your time and a $15 ticket.
Catch it this Sunday, April 12 at 7:15 p.m., or Friday, April 17 through Monday, April 20.
Already seen “Project Hail Mary”? Check out one of the many other films playing at the IMAX theater in April.
The Buy
The Buy Editor Emily here. Meet my dog Meredith. Like so many incredible pups, she’s a rescue.
Until recently, I didn’t know much about her breed, or how to best care for her. Thanks to Embark’s Breed + Health Dog DNA Test, that’s all changed. I’ve learned Meredith is a mix of American Pit Bull, Australian Cattle Dog, Dalmatian, and that she may be at higher risk for Intervertebral Disc Disease. Now I can take proactive steps to support her health — like keeping her on a balanced diet and opting for a harness over a collar to help reduce strain on her spine.
Try Embark for your dog, discover their unique DNA, and give them the best possible care.
My husband and I recently checked out Iris on the 11th floor of The Waymark hotel, and I highly recommend it if you haven’t been yet. With tasty drinks, gorgeous views, and vibey background music, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and connect with the people you love.
