Hey, guys. Sean here. As a longtime fan of music, the availability of great live music in our city has never been better. Sure, I like traveling to see shows (we’re two hours from Atlanta + Nashville) but there’s something about seeing a live show in your own town that makes it feel extra special.
With Monday’s announcement of the stacked lineup for September’s Moon River Music Festival, I started looking around for some other shows to get excited about this spring. Here are the concerts I’m most looking forward to:
- Dr. Dog at The Signal | Wed., Mar. 6 | $22 - $44
- Cat Power at the Walker Theatre | Thu., Mar. 21 | $29 - $39.50
- Jackson Browne at the Tivoli Theatre | Sun., Mar. 31 | $65 - $100

Nobody would’ve believed 15 years ago that Chattanooga could sustain as many concerts as we do. We’re just now being recognized on many artist’s radars as a potential stop. In just a few years, new venues like The Signal and the revamped Walker Theatre mean that almost every artist — regardless of audience size or popularity — has a place to perform.
