Participate in the qualifying rounds for Tennessee Songwriters Week

Local songwriters can compete for a position in the Tennessee Songwriters Weeks qualifying rounds beginning on Friday, Jan. 26.

Get ready to battle it out, Chattanooga. Sign-ups are now open for the 2024 Tennessee Songwriters Week, a statewide celebration of the art of songwriting.

The Chattanooga qualifying rounds will kick off on Friday, Jan. 26 + run through Sunday, Jan. 28 at three different venues.

Looking to take to the stage? Here’s where you can participate:

  • Friday, Jan. 26 | Gate 11 Distillery | Sign up via email

  • Sunday, Jan. 28 | Puckett’s Restaurant | Sign up TBD

20 songwriters will be chosen, creating a cohort of 140 total artists across seven participating cities. The selected songwriters will advance to the next showcase event on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at Songbirds Guitar & Pop Culture Museum’s new location at 206 W. Main St.
