No yolk, folks — Easter is quickly approaching, and you know what that means. It’s time to go egg hunting in Chattanooga.

The family-friendly tradition that goes back centuries has several hoppenin’ events around town for all ages. So, grab those baskets and get ready for some fun.

🐣 For the whole family

Ridgedale Egg Hunt | Saturday, April 1 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m. | Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Rd. | Free | Come out for an egg hunt, inflatables, face painting, and snow cones.

Easter EGGstravaganza | Saturday, April 1 | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 86 US-127, Signal Mountain | Free | This event open to the community will feature an egg hunt at 12:30 p.m., pony rides, inflatables, activities, food, and more.

Annual Westside Easter Egg Hunt | Sunday, April 9 | 3 p.m. | Westside Park, 1195 Grove St. | Free | Local rapper Coogi Doogi hosts this annual egg hunt for kiddos in honor of his late mother.

Easter at Coolidge | Sunday, April 9 | 8 a.m. | Coolidge Park, 150 River St. | Free | This annual event will begin with a 100,000-egg hunt around the park at 9 a.m., with a service to follow.

🥚 For the adults

The Great Adult Egg Hunt & Hoppy Hour | Saturday, April 8 | 1-5 p.m. | Sculpture Fields at Montague Park, 1800 Polk St. | $7-$50 | Local artists have created one-of-a-kind eggs, but adults will hunt the park for eggs containing candy + prizes from local businesses. Bonus: stick around for a Main Street restaurant “hop along” after the hunt.

Vinterest City-Wide Egg Hunt | Now-Saturday, April 8 | Times vary | Locations vary | Free | Local antique store Vinterest hides an egg — containing various prizes — around the city each day and posts clues on its Hixson + Southside Facebook pages.
