No yolk, folks — Easter is this weekend, and you know what that means. It’s time to go egg hunting in Chattanooga. 🥚

The family-friendly tradition that goes back centuries has several hoppenin’ events around town for all ages. So, grab those baskets + bonnets as we lay it all out for you.

For the kiddos 🐣

Egg-Stravagant Easter Egg Hunt | Fri., April 15-Sat., April 16 | Mayfield Farm Park, 257 TN-307, Athens | Various times | $15+ | Located ~one hour from downtown, this egg hunt on 40 acres of land will also feature pedal cars, a zip line, bubble zone, and the Easter bunny.

Coogi Doogi’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt | Sun., April 17 | Westside Park, 1195 Grove St. | 2 p.m. | Free | Local rapper Coogi Doogi hosts this annual egg hunt for kiddos in honor of his late mother.

For families 🐰

Easter at Coolidge | Sun., April 17 | Coolidge Park | 9 a.m. | Free | This annual event will begin with a 100,000-egg hunt around the park at 9 a.m., with a service to follow.

Hug a Bunny | Fri., April 15-Sat., April 16 | The Chattanooga Zoo | Various times | $15.95+ | The golden egg hunt that is part of this annual spring event will feature a major prize — a family zoo membership.

Easter Celebration | Sat., April 16 | The Bethlehem Center, 200 W. 38th St. | 1-4 p.m. | Free | This egg hunt + celebration will also feature food, music, and vendors.

Vinterest Citywide Egg Hunt | Various dates| Citywide | Any time | Local antique store Vinterest hides an egg — containing vouchers to use at the store — around the city each day and posts clues on its Hixson + Southside Facebook pages.

For adults 🥚

The Great Adult Egg Hunt | Sat., April 16 | Sculpture Fields at Montague Park | 1-5 p.m. | $7+ | Local artists have created one-of-a-kind eggs, but adults will hunt the park for eggs containing local businesses + candy prizes. Bonus: stick around for a Main Street restaurant hop after the hunt.
