Gratefull (formerly known as One Table) is returning this year. The free, community-wide Thanksgiving luncheon that’s been canceled the past two years will make its triumphant return on Thurs., Nov. 17. The details:

  • Where | In the middle of the 200 block of E. MLK Boulevard (in front of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center)
  • When | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • What | Party Bites will provide turkey and dressing while businesses like Neidlov’s, Community Pie, Main Street Meats, and Coca-cola will donate side dishes + drinks. People are encouraged to bring supplies (like nonperishable food, hygienic supplies, etc.) to benefit the Maclellan Shelter for Families.
  • Why | This yearly tradition has a goal of removing barriers and bringing people together from across social boundaries, simply to get to know each other + build understanding.
