The most special, spooky day of the year — Halloween — is fast approaching, and because apparently it’s frowned upon for adults to trick or treat, we’ve put together a list of other ways to celebrate.

The fun is starting locally on Oct. 25 and going through Nov. 1, so pace yourselves.

We’ve got a list that includes everything from horror films to family-friendly gatherings to help you plan your haunted holiday. 👻

Haunted Trail at Enterprise South Nature Park | Oct. 25 + 26 | 6-10 p.m. | Enterprise South Nature Park, 190 Still Hollow Loop Road | $20 | This haunted trail is so sure to scare you, it’s not recommended for children under 12.

John Carpenter’s “Halloween” Screening | 8 p.m. | Palace Theatre, 818 Georgia Ave. | $10 | Come see the digitally restored + remastered “Halloween” at the Palace Theatre. 🎞️

Halloween “House” Party | Oct. 30 | 6-8 p.m. | Chattanooga Fire and Police Training Center, 3200 Amnicola Hwy. | Free | CNE, Keller Williams, Olivet Baptist and the Red Cross are hosting this “house party” at the Chattanooga Fire and Police Training Center. There will be trick or treating, games, costume contests + it’s free for all.

Film Night in Cooper’s Alley: Us | Oct. 30 | 8 p.m.-12 a.m. | Cherry St. | Free | Cooper’s Alley will be screening the movie “Us” on this night. 🎞️

Halloween Costume Party | 1-9 p.m. | Classic Arcade Pinball Museum, 409 Broad St. | $20 | This party will have pizza and unlimited free play on pinball, plus free drink vouchers for those that wear costumes. 🍕
