Clear your schedule for Friday night because Nightfall is back.

The downtown music series features 14 weeks of free concerts at Miller Plaza and Miller Park, and it all starts this Friday, May 1.

Local opener FlashDrive will take the stage at 7 p.m. and Sinkane will headline at 8 p.m., blending Afrobeat, pop, reggae, and jazz. If you’d like a little preview, here’s a clip of him performing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Nightfall is more than just live music — it’s a place to grab food from local trucks, beer from local breweries, and goods from local artisans starting at 6 p.m. Pro tip: You can save 20% on beer by buying 20 tickets in bulk through May.

Bring it:

  • Folding chairs
  • Blankets
  • Leashed pets
  • Umbrellas (shows are rain or shine)

Don’t bring it:

  • Outside food
  • Outside beverages (besides water bottles)
  • Coolers
