It happens every year. You’ve barely recovered from Christmas-type celebrations. Keeping up with the days of the week has gotten challenging + before you know it — bam — it’s New Year’s Eve.

And, depending on who you ask, NYE is either the best holiday of the year or the most overrated.

In our Instagram poll, 73% of you said you’re staying in this year. But if you’re in that 27% who want a night on the town to party until you’re covered in glitter that won’t go away before 2022, we’ve got some suggestions.

First, check this round-up from the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau.

If those don’t make your inner party animal perk up, we’ve picked a few more December 31 events that sound too cool to miss.

🎉 NYE 2020 // New Year Extravaganza | 5 p.m.-3 a.m. | London Calling, 715 Cherry St. | Free | There will be sparkling wine deals all night, belly dancers, a DJ and confetti drop. No tickets, so get there early if you don’t want to be disappointed.
