Get ready for a weekend of fun, Nooga. The Moon River Music Festival is back this Sat., Sept. 10-Sun., Sept. 11 in Coolidge Park.
With headlining acts The National + Leon Bridges and a solid lineup including artists like Band of Horses, Local Natives, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Zach Bryan, and so much more — it’s going to be a jam-packed weekend.
Whether you’re attending (we’ll see you there, btw) or if it’s not in your plans, we’ve got you covered with our guide to the festival.
Tickets + payment
Still need to get your tickets? No worries, 1-day + 2-day tickets are still available for purchase here — you can also pick up VIP wristbands + pre/after party tickets.
The festival is cashless, meaning in order to buy food, drinks, merch, etc. you’ll have to pay with a card, or you can load money onto your wristbands.
Parking
There is not a space dedicated for festival parking. The lots on the north side of the river + around Coolidge Park will be closed for festival staging.
We recommend parking across the river in downtown + accessing the festival via the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge.
If you’re biking to the festival, a complimentary Bike Valet will be available and located just off of River Street near Outdoor Chattanooga and the Walnut Street Bridge. You can also check out this helpful festival bus route guide.
Food + Drink
There will be no shortage of food + drink vendors to choose from. We can’t wait to try Flaming Wok, Romega Taqueria, and Fistful of Tacos.
A full list of which items are permitted + prohibited can be found here.
For those not attending
If going to Moon River isn’t in your plans, that doesn’t mean you should completely avoid the area. Plenty of restaurants + shops in the NorthShore area will be open for business and need support during the weekend — you might just have to park a little further than usual.

THE WRAP
Today’s edition was written by Kristen.
Editor’s pick: This weekend is one of those weekends where I wish I could be at multiple places at the same time, there are so many cool things happening around town. I’ll be at the Moon River Festival, but someone have a beer for me at the Brew Skies Beer & Wine Festival + some Latin food at CELEBRA Chattanooga.
