I’m heading out of town this weekend for a little cabin getaway with some friends, but if I was here I would definitely be checking out the Sip TN Wine Festival. Trying out wines that were made in our state while benefiting the Chattanooga Market sounds like a win-win to me.

In case you missed it, Tyler Perry Studios were in town filming at the Chattanooga Choo Choo for the upcoming film “Six Triple Eight.” The film is based on the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.
Civic
The Chattanooga City Council recently approved Mayor Tim Kelly’s Climate Action Plan — which includes an updated vision on combating climate change + boosting the city’s sustainability efforts — with a 5-2 vote. Read more about the plan’s six goals. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
