Highland Park Porchfest, a neighborhood music festival where “porches become stages, yards become seats, and radical generosity and good will rule the day,” will return on Saturday, Oct. 14.

In case you missed it, the Highland Park Porchfest is a grassroots, community-led event that had its inaugural festival last year. The festival is free to attend for folks of all ages.

This year will feature 22 bands that will perform across 13 porches in the Highland Park neighborhood. The first performance will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the final act of the night will close at 11 p.m. — see the full schedule.

Bonus: Come hungry — Nola Girl’s Gumbo + Ukko will be on site serving up food. You can also cool down with a popsicle from King of Pops.
