We all know what makes Valentine’s Day so special, the delicious treats, of course. This year, we’re trading in those chocolate-covered strawberries for something even sweeter — Little Debbie Valentine treats.
Lucky for you, Editor Haley (big fan of the Oatmeal Creme Pies and Nutty Buddy snacks) + Editor Kristen (lover of the Cosmic Brownies and Oatmeal Creme Pies) are here to rate the treats for you.
Valentine Cakes, Chocolate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Editor Haley | If you’re a fan of the classic Swiss roll, this cake is very reminiscent of that flavor palate.
Editor Kristen | The chocolate was bomb, you can’t go wrong.
Valentine Cakes, Strawberry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Editor Haley | The strawberry taste with the icing in the middle was *chef’s kiss* all around.
Editor Kristen | This one surprised me, this was my standout.
Valentine Cakes, Vanilla (new) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Editor Haley | While I’m not the biggest fan of vanilla, this was still delicious, a solid choice.
Editor Kristen | You gotta’ love a classic, simply a good go-to.
We got you something sweet, our dear Valentines.

Valentine Nutty Buddy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Editor Haley | The peanut butter really stood out to me combined with the white-striped icing, also have to note the single packaging for those anti-valentiners.
Editor Kristen | A sweeter version of this classic, absolutely beautiful.
Be My Valentine Iced Brownies ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Editor Haley | For full transparency, I’m not a fan of sprinkles (I know), so this doesn’t rank high for me, but still a good contender.
Editor Kristen | As a Cosmic Brownie lover, the heart-shaped brownie was super cute — the difference between sprinkles also added a new twist to the classic.
Valentine Mini Donuts, Vanilla (new) ⭐️⭐️✨
Editor Haley | The cakey-ness of the donut is quite good, recommend sampling with a glass of milk.
Editor Kristen | These are the cutest little donuts that are on the sweeter side, I second Haley’s pro tip on pairing with a glass of milk.
Valentine Cherry Cordials⭐️⭐️✨
Editor Haley | A good imitation of chocolate-covered cherries.
Editor Kristen | Definitely enjoyed the cherry filling on the inside more than just the outside itself.

Asked: What development projects do you want updates on in 2024?
Let us construct some updates for you. | Photo by NOOGAtoday
As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither are Chattanooga’s many development projects. Last year, we shared quite a bit of announcements for new construction or redevelopment projects — now, we want to know which ones you want updates on.
We recently covered the major financial update on the South Broad stadium, but there are so many more developments to discuss. Are you curious about where the Tivoli Theatre restorations stand after beginning in 2022 or wondering when City Cafe Diner’s Broad Street location will open?
Let us know so we can get the developing details for you.
Asked
Do you actively keep up with development projects?
A. Yes B. Sometimes, if I pass by it daily C. No, not really
These cowgirl boot stir sticks from Coco Cadeaux’s collection. They’re festive, pink, and perfect for your Galentine’s Day celebration (bonus: they’re also BPA free).
With calls for an early spring, consider blooming with The Chattery this year. The organization has announced a new summit that is slated later in May — “Bloom” will be designed as an inclusive space for Black women + non-binary creatives. Start planting your seeds.
