Traffic
Northbound lanes of Gunbarrel Road (in the 1900 block) will be reduced to one lane + shift to the center lane now through Monday, April 22 for crews to decommission a natural gas line. The traffic pattern in will be in place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Transit
Finley Stadium + First Horizon Pavilion recently opened an Electrify America charging station at 1826 Reggie White Blvd. The station features six hyper-fast charging ports that are “capable of speeds up to 350 kW.” Folks can use the service by paying via credit or debit cards and a mobile app. (Chattanoogan.com)

Nominations are now open for United Way of Greater Chattanooga’s Celebrate Awards, recognizing local nonprofits and volunteers who serve our community. The five categories include “Innovator of the Year” + “Nonprofit Leader of the Year.” Send in your nominations.
Cause
Amada Tapas will host a special dining experience on Saturday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in support of Naughty Cat Cafe. Ticket holders will get a champagne and charcuterie happy hour + a four-course vegetarian and wine pairing meal.

National veterans organization Military Friendly recently designated UTC as a military-friendly + military spouse-friendly school. We’ve got some hoppy news coming your way. The annual Chattanooga Beer Fest will return to the First Horizon Pavilion on Saturday, May 25. This 21+ event will feature unlimited samples from local and regional breweries, food trucks, and live entertainment.

Nightfall, Chattanooga’s longest-running outdoor concert series hosted by Chattanooga Presents, will return for its 37th season this summer.
The 15-week string of summer concerts held at Miller Plaza will begin on May 24, and continue every Friday evening through Aug. 30.
Along with the live music performances, folks can gather in and around Miller Park to enjoy food trucks, local artisan vendors, lawn games + activities for the whole family.
The shows will run from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night — opening with a local band performance before the national headliner of various genres. Check out some of the headlining artists below + view the full schedule online.
