The East Ridge City Council recently approved plans for a multi-purpose event center that will be located behind City Hall. The 12,000-sqft facility will feature an event space, two multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, an outdoor entertainment space + indoor public restrooms.

The votes are in. Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint’s Crab Rangoon Burger was voted the best burger from Chattanooga Burger Week — for the second year in a row. This dish was made with Wagyu beef, house-made crab rangoon filling, crispy wonton strips + sweet chili sauce.
Drink
The Tennessee Whiskey Trail’s annual Whiskey Week returns Friday, May 3 through Saturday, May 11 — paying homage to spirits, cuisine, and culture in East Tennessee. Several Chattanooga restaurants and bars will join in on the festivities. See the participants + events.

Editor Kristen and I spent our Friday enjoying lunch over at Zaya 1943 Korean Steakhouse, and let me tell y’all, I think I found my new favorite way to have steak.
