The City of Chattanooga has selected New York-based artist Ebony Bolt to create the public art installations. Bolt is known for her vibrant + community-focused designs and has previously worked on projects like enhancing streetscapes through the NYC Department of Transportation’s art program.
The first phase of the project will focus on the artistic wayfinding installation. Bolt will conduct a site visit + meet with community members to develop a proposal and implementation plan.
Bolt’s plan will be reviewed and approved by a selection committee, with the installation process to begin in late February or early March.
