The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission approved a rezoning request to allow a drive-through Scooter’s coffee shop to open on Broad Street. The site by Chattanooga Christian School + Publix has a traffic lane that needed reclassification for auto activities. City Council will also need to approve this decision. Local business development hub INCubator of Chattanooga has launched INC Connect to support early-stage manufacturing + product-based entrepreneurs. This initiative is a partnership with Proof Programs to provide a low-barrier entry point to projects in the first two years of business development. INCubator is now accepting applications.

The International Bluegrass Music Association is tuning in to Chattanooga as its new host city for the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards. The organization also announced this year’s nominees + Hall of Fame inductees. The ceremony will take place at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 18; tickets are available.

People say you never forget how to ride a bike — but I’m pretty sure my bike-riding skills depleted after years off the pedals.
