We ain’t afraid of no ghost — but we are scared of sewage backup, power outages, and potholes. We rounded up a few resources to answer the age-old question posed by “Ghostbusters": Who ya gonna call?

If there’s something strange...

Drainage issues | For water or sewage backup, or other drainage problems, call 311, use the “CHA 311" app, or submit a request online.

Animal collection | Call 423-643-6311 to have the city pick up a dead animal on any public street.

Power issues | For streetlight outages and downed power lines, call EPB at 423-648-1372 or report the outage online.

...in your neighborhood

Barking dogs | If it isn’t a mischievous spirit keeping you up at night, but your neighbor’s pooch instead, call McKamey Animal Center at 423-305‑6500.

Potholes | Stop swerving and call 311, use the “CHA 311" app, or submit a request online.

Unknown number calling? It’s not random

Using hidden cameras, the BBC caught workers at a scam call center laughing at the people they were tricking.

The disturbing truth? Scammers don’t pick phone numbers at random. They buy your data from brokers.

Once your data is out there, it’s not just calls. It’s phishing, impersonation, and identity theft.

That’s why Incogni stands out. The data removal service deletes your personal info from the web, then continuously monitors and removes new data as fresh threats emerge.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the winner of the Krystal Slider Showdown: Chris Auld. He ate 10 Krystal sliders in two minutes during the restaurant’s 93rd birthday celebration last week. In addition to that sweet championship belt, Auld was awarded free Krystals for a year.
Three smiling men wearing "Slider Showdown" T-shirts stand in front of a festive backdrop with red, black, and white balloons, exuding a cheerful atmosphere.
