If you’ve been watching the 2026 Winter Olympics, you might be itching to try out some of the sports. While Chattanooga isn’t exactly a winter sports hub, there are still ways to get in on the action without traveling too far.

Predators game | Nashville, TN | The Olympics end Sunday, Feb. 22, but you can still get your hockey fix by attending a Predators game at Bridgestone Arena. Their next home game is Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. Grab tickets online.

Ice on the Landing | 1826 Reggie White Blvd. | Chattanooga’s seasonal ice rink is closed for now, but it returns each winter with public skating sessions and lessons for all skill levels.

Some good news for drivers: The I-24/I-75 interchange project is 97% complete, according to TDOT. It’s expected to wrap up by Sunday, April 5 — which also happens to be Easter, if you need a way to remember the date. (Local 3 News)

UTC’s “Mapping Chattanooga’s Urban Forests” StoryMap is a finalist in the 2025 ArcGIS competition, recognized for using data and AI to guide tree planting and fight urban heat. Voting is open through Tuesday, March 10, and a winner will be announced in April.
