Try This

Take A Break returns to Miller Park today with food trucks and Scenic City Sideshow performers like jugglers and magicians. The free event will happen every Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and it’s the perfect excuse to take a lunch break or afternoon stroll.

Seasonal

Hixson High School will host its annual Greenhouse Plant Sale tomorrow, April 10 from 12 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All of the plants were grown by students, and proceeds will directly support the school’s agriculture education program.

Biz

Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union announced the five Chattanooga finalists for its Idea Leap Grant competition: Yellow Racket Records, Mindy B’s Deli, Shaq’s Mobile Detailing, Chef Express, and Windy City Eatz. Each will get $10,000 for their businesses, and now they’ll compete for a $30,000 grand prize.
Chattanooga landed on Livability’s list of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in 2026, coming in at No. 73. The rankings are based on data like housing, cost of living, amenities, and transportation across small- to mid-size cities in the US.
